Step 1

Firstly, you need to log into your WordPress admin account. For this, type your website name followed by “/wp-admin/” (without inverted commas) on the search box. For example, domain-name.com/wp-admin/.

Enter the correct email or username and password.

Step 2

After successful login, on the left-hand side, you will see various options. Click on ‘Plugins’.

Step 3

At the top under Plugins, you will see an option ‘Add New’. Click it. This will take you to the screen where you can search for the right plugin.

Step 4

Find the ‘Search Box’ at the upper right-hand corner. Here you can look for a specific plugin. In this case, a shipping plugin is searched. There are around 8,000 plugins to choose from. Feel free to pick any plugin that best fits your requirements.

Step 5

Once you have found the right plugin, it’s time to install it. Click on the ‘Install Now’ button that you will find alongside the name of the plugin. Now, wait for a few seconds until the message appears ‘Successfully installed the plugin’, followed by the plugin’s name. For e.g. ‘Successfully installed the plugin UPS WooCommerce Shipping Method Plugin’.

Step 6

Activate the plugin by clicking ‘Activate Plugin’ option. Once installed, users can customize the features and functionality of the plugin.
